She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Mayne officiating the services.
Pallbearers will be Mitchell Gary, Jonathan Bares, John Paul Bares, Mark Anthony Cavalier Jr., Francis Cavalier, Timmy Robbins, Cedric Mouton and Taylor Bares. Honorary pallbearers will be Rowan Bares and Bryce Scalisi.
She was a Eucharist Minister to the sick at St. Therese Church. She was also a prayer group leader and a confirmation retreat leader.
She is survived by her son, Ricky Primeaux of Abbeville; two daugthters, Shelia Primeaux and Gretchen Primeaux, both of Abbeville; eight grandchildren, Bridget Primeaux, Jared Scalisi , Jonathan Bares, John Paul Bares, Mark Anthony Cavalier Jr., Francis Cavalier, Mitchell Gary and Ashley Primeaux; and seven great grandchildren, Jailyn Campbell, Bryce Scalisi, Jackson Scalisi, Averie Bares, Rowan Bares, Taylor Bares, Annistyn Gary and Aubrie Gary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Primeaux; and her parents Walter Lege and the former Gladys Hebert.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Sunday, September 8, 2013 from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.; with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Monday, September 9, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
