Funeral
services will be held Friday, May
09, 2008 at a 10:00 a.m.. Mass
of Christian Burial in St. Mary
Magdalen Catholic Church
honoring the life of Margurite
Olive Hebert Hebert, 102, who
died May 07, 2008 at her
residence.
She will be laid to rest at
Hebert Cemetery with Reverend
William Blanda officiating the
services. Pallbearers will be Seth
Detraz, Jake Detraz, D.J.
Songne, Brady Foreman, Terry
Savoie and Patrick Selman.
Mrs. Hebert was a loving
mother, grandmother, great
grandmother and great great
grandmother.
She is survived by one son,
Jim "Crow" Hebert of Abbeville;
two daughters, Florence
McKeand of Bay City, TX and
Laurence Selman of Broken
Arrow, OK; one brother, Albert
Hebert of Abbeville; one sister,
Enid Rogers of North Carolina;
thirteen grandchildren; and many
great and great great
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death
by her husband, Galbert Hebert;
three sons, Sidney Hebert, Lloyd
Hebert and Galvey Hebert; one
daughter, Azama Savoie;
parents, Ephemon Hebert and
the former Emelia LeMaire; four
brothers; and five sisters.
Mrs. Olive was lovingly
and compassionately cared for
by her granddaughter, Dawn
Detraz.
The family requests that
visiting hours be observed at
Vincent Funeral Home, 209
South St. Charles, Abbeville,
Thursday, May 8th from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary
to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Friday,
May 9th from 8:00 a.m. until 9:45
a.m. when the procession will
depart for the church.
