Alton Wiley Baker, Jr.

He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Rev. Pres Riley officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Corey Baker, Shane Redwing, Clint Redwing, Ryan Davidson, Brad Webster and Ross Davidson. Honorary pallbearers will be Austin Baker, Tom Webster, Jason Babb, Mark Hailey, Jimmy Choate, Donnie Choate, Ray Gachassin, Jack Gullick and Terry Davidson.
He is survived by his three sons, Corey Baker and his wife, Jessie of Erath, Clint Redwing of Abbeville, and Shane Redwing and his wife, Sarah of Kaplan; brother, Austin Baker of Ball, LA; two sisters, Ann Webster of Pineville and Rose Baker of Abbeville; fourteen grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Choate Baker; parents, Alton Baker, Sr. and the former Maurine Houston; and daughter, Shannon Redwing.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Sunday, September 15, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.; Monday, September 16, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
