Funeral
services will be held Saturday,
May 17, 2008 at a 11:30 a.m.
Mass of Christian Burial in St.
Mary Magdalen Catholic Church
honoring the life of Wilson
Joseph “Paran” Trahan, 87, who died
May 14, 2008 at Abbeville
General Hospital.
He will be laid to rest at St.
Paul Cemetery with Reverend
Greg Chauvin officiating the
services. Pallbearers will be Joey
Roy III, Stephen Roy, Chris
Turner, Gage Turner, Justin
Manceaux and Paul Trahan.
Wilson was retired from
Patterson Rental Tools after 26
years of service. He was a
veteran of WW II serving in the
United States Army with
overseas duty.
He is survived by his godchild,
Joey Roy and his wife, Sandra
and their children Joey Roy III
and Stephen all of Duson; two
brothers, Rene Trahan of New
Iberia and Clarence Trahan of
Austin, TX; and three sisters,
Lula Mae T. Gary of New Iberia,
Amy T. Romero of Broussard
and Velma T. Romero of New
Iberia.
He was preceded in death by
his wife of 63 years, Olite
Bourque Trahan; parents, John Delphin Trahan and the former Selevia Romero; and one sister,
Florence T. LeBlanc of New Iberia.
The family requests that
visiting hours be observed at
Vincent Funeral Home, 209
South St. Charles, Abbeville,
Friday, May 16th from 10:00 a.m.
until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Saturday,
May 17th from 8:00 a.m. until
time of services.
