Funeral services will be held Friday, May 16, 2008 at a 2:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Theresa Catholic Church honoring the life of Ennis Maurice Schexnaider, 68, who died May 15, 2008 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery. Reverend Wayne Duet will be the celebrant of the funeral Mass and the Con-celebrant will be Reverend Gregory Simien officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Timmy, Randy, Kevin, Dusty, Blake and Lorris Schexnaider, Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler, Drake-Michael, and AnneClaire Schexnaider. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Broussard Schexnaider; three sons, Timothy James Schexnaider and his wife, Susie of Maurice, Randall Paul Schexnaider and his wife Angie of Kaplan and Kevin Douglas Schexnaider and his wife, Annette of Erath; five grandchildren, Dustin Schexnaider, Blake Schexnaider, Tyler Schexnaider, Drake-Michael Schexnaider and AnneClaire Schexnaider; one great grandchild, Londyn Schexnaider; one brother, Howard Schexnaider; and two sisters, Mabel Choate and Inez Vincent. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice Schexnaider and the former Agnes Guillot; and one grandchild, Paige Elizabeth Schexnaider. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South St. Charles, Abbeville, Thursday, May 15th from 5:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. and will remain open until time of services on Friday.
