Abbeville—Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 26, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. James Catholic Church honoring the life of Lucy Baudoin Noel, 91, who died Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Lexington House Care Center.

She will be laid to rest at Esther Community Cemetery with Reverend Emmanuel Fernandez officiating the services.

She is survived by her two sons, Floyd Noel and his wife, Millie of Maurice and Eugene Noel and his wife, Joann of Alexandria; two sisters, Hazel Mouton and Deanna Peltier; grandchildren, Troy Noel , Todd Noel, Chad Noel, Dean Noel, Jude Noel, Christie Coulon, Danielle Moss, Dayton Detraz, Donald Detraz, III, Tricia Boudreaux, and Kevin Luquette; and twenty-five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Noel, Sr.; parents, Otto Baudoin and the former Eve Broussard; son, Daniel Noel; daughter, Gloria Luquette; sister, Louise Broussard; and brothers, Glady, Curley, John, and Maxie Baudoin.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Thursday, September 26, 2013 11:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. when the procession will depart for church. A rosary will be prayed at noon.
