Bella Trahan Duhon

She will be laid to rest at St. Alphonsus Cemetery with Reverend Joseph Breaux officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Lance Duhon, Guy Duhon, Nicholas Trahan, Brett Trahan, Tony Libersat, and Russell Hebert.
She is survived by her four children, Elgin Holland of Lafayette, Thomas Duhon of Maurice, Hulen Duhon and his wife Ginger of Maurice and Katie Trahan and her husband Sammy of Abbeville; nine grandchildren, Darrell Granger, Janice Daigle, Sonia Hebert, Alecia Broussard, Renee' Libersat, Lance Duhon, Guy Duhon, Nicholas Trahan and Brett Trahan; seventeen great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Minos Duhon; her parents, Nicholas Trahan and the former Alecia Racca; infant son, John Howard Duhon; grandson, Jason Granger; two son-in-laws, Eugene Granger and Doug Holland; two daughter-in-laws, Merelyn Duhon and Ardine Duhon; and brother, Thear Trahan.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Sunday, October 6, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. and Monday, October 7, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. when the procession will leave for church.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to her caregivers Marjorie Minnick and Myrtis Harrington.
