Ethel Broussard Clark

October 20, 1921 — May 22, 2008

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 23, 2008 at a 1:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Maurice celebrating the life of Ethel Broussard Clark, 86, who died May 22, 2008 at Abbeville General Hospital.
Reverend Joseph Breaux will be officiating the service. She will be laid to rest at St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Gregory Brasseaux, Jared Brasseaux, Chris Baker, Billy Broussard, Kent Meaux and Lawrence Meaux.
She is survived by her daughter, Helen C. Brasseaux and husband Charles of Abbeville; four grandchildren, Gregory, Vanessa and Giselle Brasseaux, and Stephanie Clark Broussard; five great grandchildren, Alexis Broussard, Jared, Kristin, and Hannah Brasseaux and Brooke B. Baker; and four great great grandchildren, Ali Bodin, Layla Champagne, Kaleb Broussard, and Mia Brasseaux.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Clark; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alcee and Elda Schexnayder Broussard; a son, Joseph Woodley Clark; two brothers, Edlar T. Broussard and Ebay Broussard; two sisters, Enite B. Broussard and Anita B. Landry.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South St. Charles, Abbeville, Friday, May 23, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. and will reopen on Saturday, May 24, 2008 at 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
