Eve Duplantis Lemaire

April 4, 1903 — May 30, 2008

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 03, 2008, at St. Theresa Catholic Church honoring the life of Eve Duplantis Lemaire, 105 of Erath, who died Friday, May 30, 2008 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Abbeville.
Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery.
She is survived by two sons, Norris Lemaire of Erath and Richard K. Lemaire and wife Sadie of Little Rock Arkansas; two daughters, Hazel L. Decuir of Erath and Mary Ann Schexnyder and husband Howard of Kaplan; 21 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 31 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Noah Lemaire; father, Nelson Duplantis; mother, Avelia Frederick Duplantis; son, Hubert Lemaire; and numerous brothers and sisters.
The family request that visiting hours be observed Monday, June 2nd, from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. and Tuesday, from 8 a.m. until time of service. A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
