Funeral
services will be held
Wednesday, June 11,2008 at an
11 :00 a.m.. Mass of Christian
Burial in St. Mary Magdalen
Catholic Church honoring the
life of Olita Duplantis Lemaire,
92, who died June 09, 2008 at
Maison du Monde Living Center.
She will be laid to rest at St.
Paul Cemetery with Reverend
Greg Chauvin officiating the
services.
She is survived by two sons,
Dennis Lemaire of Delcambre
and A.J. Lemaire of Rayne; two
daughters, Delores Gary of New
Iberia and Maudry LeBlanc of
Fannett, TX; twenty-two
grandchildren; forty-five great
grandchildren; and nineteen
great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death
by her parents, Abraham
Duplantis and the former Elodie
Lapointe; husband, Preston
Lemaire; sons, Lenwood
Lemaire, Dudley Lemaire, and
Jeffery Lemaire; two
grandchildren; two brothers; and
three sisters.
The family requests that
visiting hours be observed at
Vincent Funeral Home, 209
South St. Charles, Abbeville,
Tuesday, June 10th from 8:00
a.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a
rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.;
Wednesday, June 11th from
8:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. when
the procession will depart for the
church.
