Gueydan—Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Clarence Lege Sr., 100, who died Sunday, December 15, 2013 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Reverend Corey Campeaux officiating the services.

He is survived by his son, Clarence P. Lege Jr. and his wife, Vivian of Gueydan; daughter-in-law, Marie Lege of Gueydan; sister, Ida Bertrand of Crowley; five grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and eleven great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mae Etta H. Lege; one son, Robert L. Lege; and great grandson, Dwayne Stout.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth Street, on Monday, December 16, 2013 from 11 a.m. until the procession departs for the church services on Tuesday. A rosary will be prayed at 7 Monday evening.
