She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Deacon William "Billy" Vincent officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Murray Trahan, John Trahan, Rodney Trahan, Russell Nunez, Michael Harrington (Leo, Jr.), John Quibodeaux, Brooke Trahan, and Jessie Frederick.
She is survived by her four sons, Doris Trahan and Annette of Abbeville, Murray Trahan and Maranda of Morse, John Trahan and Shontelle of Sulphur, and Rodney Trahan and Rayette of Kaplan; two daughters, Judy Trahan and Jessie Frederick of Maurice, and Mary Quibodeaux and Tommy of Sulphur; daughter-in-law, Rose Trahan; brother, Percy Connor; step-brothers and sisters, Mike and Wendell Connor, Sharron and Belinda; twenty-two grandchildren; and thirty great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, D.L. Peltier; parents, John Connor and the former Zaviea LaPointe; sister, Leona Gary; son, Leo Trahan; and grandson, Chris Trahan.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Saturday, December 28, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Sunday, December 29, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
