Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Monday, January 6, 2014 at a 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Zulmae Mouton Vincent, 94, who died Monday, December 30, 2013 at Old Jefferson Community Care Center. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Cedric Sonnier officiating the services.
She was a life long resident of Kalan until moving to Baton Rouge in 2003 to be near her children. Ms. Zue was a long time member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, an avid supporter of Maltrait Memorial and Vermilion Catholic High School, and a charter member of Catholic Daughters. She was employed for many years as a clerk for Meaux's Pharmacy.
She is survived by her two sons, Francis Jude Vincent of Houston, TX and Steve Gregory Vincent of Baton Rouge; one daughter, June Vincent Gautreau of Baton Rouge; nine grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Doland Vincent; two sisters, Eve Lormand and Emma Richard; and three brothers, Ezadore, Chares Aubrey, and Leo Paul Mouton.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Sunday, January 5, 2014 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Monday, January 6, 2014 from 8 a.m. until services.
