Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 10, 2014 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Brucy Wayne Broussard, 65, who died Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Johnathan Janise officiating the services.

He is survived by his mother, Anna Feverjean of Kaplan; four sisters, Sandra Matthews of Abbeville, Drucilla Becker of Kaplan, Jessica LeMaire of Kaplan, and Joetta Gunn of Youngsville; ten nieces and nephews; and seventeen great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Adlair Broussard Jr.; his maternal grandparents, Rene and Lois Menard; his paternal grandparents, Alair Broussard and Angelle Saltzman; his step-father, J.C. Feverjean; and his brother-in-law, Nolan "Butch" Becker.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, January 9, 2014 from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Friday, January 10, 2014 from 8 a.m. until services.
