Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Gladys Istre Hargrave, 91, who died Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Kaplan Healthcare Center. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Johnathan Janise officiating the services.

She is survived by her sister, Anna Belle LeMaire of Kaplan; her daughter-in-law, Beverly Hargrave of Kaplan; three grandchildren, Jeff Hargrave and his wife, Kimi of Lafayette, Jarrett Hargrave of Kaplan, and Jaime Merkle of Kerrville, TX; four great grandchildren, Mia Hargrave, Ali Hargrave, Graci Hargrave, and Lilith Anne Heitkamp.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Odelia Istre and the former Eugenie Romero; her husband, Wilson J. Hargrave Sr; and her son Wilson J. Hargrave Jr.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m.; Wednesday, February 26, 2014 from 9 a.m. until services.
