Judith Ann Mckitrick Bruce

Judy graduated from Elyria High School in 1968. She married Bradley D. Bruce of Elyria on April 4, 1970 and resided in Elyria until 2009, when she and Brad moved to Abbeville. Judy was employeed by Trudy Ansel State Farm Insurance, transferring to Terri Landy State Farm Insurance in Louisiana, where she retired in 2012. She was an avid race fan. Judy loved to bowl, read, and was a loyal Cleveland Browns fan. She was a Rainbow girl and involved with Stone City Chapter Order of the Eastern Stars, and Tri-Ams. Serving as Worthy Matron in 2001. Judy was a member of First United Methodist Church. After moving to Abbeville, God led her to Abbeville United Methodist Church, where she was welcomed and loved by Revernend John Vining and the congregation.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Howard D. and Jean R. (Harold) McKitrick.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Bradley D. Bruce; two children, Dawn M. Snider (Steve), and Michael B. Bruce (Jackie); six grandchildren, Alyssa Bruce of Amherst, Justin Bruce stationed in San Diego, California serving in the United States Navy, Michael Bruce, Jr., Jamie Bruce, Kyle Snider, and Keira Snider of Elyria; brother, John H. McKitrick (Charmion) of Diamond Bar, California; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Abbeville United Methodist Church, 213 N. State Street, Abbeville, Louisiana with Reverend John Vining officiating the service.
