Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 2, 2014 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Harold Lloyd Hebert, 77, who died Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Lafayette General Medical Center. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Johnathan Janise officiating the services.

Pallbearers will be Nicholas Landry, Alex Hebert, Connor McGee, Bryce McGee, Andr? Hebert, Abbey Hebert, Hailey Hebert.

Harold was a dedicated rice farmer and served on the Vermilion Parish School Board for 23 years.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Beverly B. Hebert of Nunez; two sons, Harold Hebert Jr and his wife, Monique of Nunez and Bryan Hebert and his wife, Christine of Nunez; one daughter, Claudia H. and her husband, Terry Landry of Nunez; three brothers, Melvin Hebert of New Jersey, Francis Hebert of Nunez, and George Nolan Hebert of Nunez; Nine grandchildren, Abbey Hebert, Alex Hebert, Bryce McGee, Connor McGee, Hailey Hebert, Andre' Jude Hebert, Nicholas Landry, Kristen Landry, and Natalie Landry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Aurelie Hebert and the former Jeanette Broussard; his son, Joshua Hebert; and his brother, John L. Hebert.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Saturday, March 1, 2014 from from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 6 p.m.; Sunday, March 2, 2014 from 8 a.m. services.
