Mary Ann Trahan

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Monday, March 17, 2014 at a 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Mary M. Trahan, 73, who died Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Kaplan Healthcare Center. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Cedric Sonnier officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, John Ronald Trahan; her daughter, Julie and her husband, Barry LaFleur of Scott; six grandchildren, Paxton, Ethan, and Paige Trahan, Aimee, Andre, and Beau LaFleur; and her daughter-in-law, Peggy Trahan of Gueydan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Meaux and the former Lucia Cormier; and her son, James Robert Trahan.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Sunday, March 16, 2014 from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m.; with a rosary being prayed at 6 p.m.; Monday, March 17, 2014 from 8 a.m. until the procession departs for church.
