Raymond Derouen

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 24, 2014 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Raymond DeRouen, 65, who died Saturday, March 22, 2014 at his residence.

He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon Randy Hyde officiating the services.

He is survived by his four daughters, Annette DeRouen, Monica DeRouen LeBlanc, Bonnie Elliott and Nikki Stockle; one son, Christopher DeRouen and his wife Angel; former wife, Cherylyn L. Derouen; grandchildren, Destiny DeRouen, Caleb Clark, Brennan Clark and Bobby Fonseca; step children, Veronica Blanchard, Janice Standlee, Becky Bryant and Kay Hayden and her husband John; step grandchildren, Ean Trahan, Cody Girouard, Chris Guidroz, Jeremy Devillier, Matthew Devillier, Amanda Standlee, Zachary Bryant, Nathan Borne, Timothy Stockle, Paul Sampay, Dylan Fonseca, Jonathan Fonseca and Erika Clarke; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Robert DeRouen and the former Willie Mae Chauvin; and his companion of 23 years, Joyce Bryant.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Sunday, March 23, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m., with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.;Monday March 24, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
