Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville honoring the life of Nolan Thibeaux, Sr., 73, who died July 13, 2008 at Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital. He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Pres Riley officiating the services. He is survived by his wife, Etheline Thibeaux; two sons, Nolan Thibeaux, Jr. and his wife, Ruby and Mitchell Thibeaux and his wife, Kristy; four daughters, Judy Litwiler and her husband, Larry, Sandra Whalen, Jean Bertrand and her husband, Jessie and Rachelle Jennings; one brother, Raoul "Speedy" Thibeaux; one sister, Ena Thibeaux; seventeen grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Felicien Thibeaux and the former Anna Mouton; one son, Ronnie Thibeaux; one sister, Inez Sonnier; and one brother, John Euphe Thibeaux. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home, 209 South St. Charles, Abbeville, Tuesday, July 15th from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.; Wednesday, July 16th from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
