Earline Rose Dartez Choate

Esther—Funeral services will be held Monday, April 21, 2014 at a 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. James Catholic Church honoring the life of Earline Rose Dartez Choate, 80, who died Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at her residence.

She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Emmanuel Fernandez officiating the services.

She is survived by her three sons, Brent Choate and his wife Beatriz, Brian Choate and his wife Deborah, and Brad Choate and his wife Robin; brothers, Earl Dartez and Floyd Gaspard; sisters, Nedrie Dartez; Floydry Baker and Sally Gaspard; special niece, Mary Beth Broussard; five grandchildren, Cory Choate, Rylan Choate, Ashley Choate, Breanne Choate, and Brittney Choate; and great grandchildren, Jackson, Payton, Adyson, Drake, Ivy, Mikya, and Isabella.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Norman "Snap" Choate; parents, Francis Luke Dartez and the former Bernice Harrington; step father, Ozan Gaspard; and brother, Lawless Dartez.

Earline’s family would like to offer a special thanks to her sitters, Rita, Jennifer and Terrie and also to everyone with Paramount Hospice for their wonderful care and compassion.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at St. James Catholic Church, , on Monday, April 21, 2014 from 8:30 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be prayed at 10:00 a.m.
