Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church for Ray Trahan, 64, of Abbeville, who died Saturday, July 26th at Our Lady of Lourdes hospital in Lafayette. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery. He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Lois Loga Trahan; two daughters, Tammy Mailhes and husband Reid of Abbeville and Amanda DeMarcy and husband Heath of Bridge City, TX; three grandchildren, Tyler Mailhes, Taylor DeMarcy and Blake DeMarcy; and three sisters, Rita T. Broussard, Joyce Montet and Merlene Trahan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Trahan and Gladys Henry Trahan. Visitation will be at Vincent Funeral Home 209 South Saint Charles Street Abbeville, Monday July 28th from 11am until 9 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7 pm and Tuesday July 29th from 8 am until time of service.
