Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Crossroads Church honoring the life of Shawn Patric Harrington, 44, who died Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Acadia St. Landry Hospital.

He is survived by his mother, Flodry Breaux of Kaplan; one son, Braxton Shawn Harrington of Kaplan; one daughter, Cailey Dayle Harrington of Kaplan; two sisters, Thelia Dawn Dubois of Maurice, Meagan Harrington of Kaplan; five brothers, Christopher Breaux, Charles L. Harrington II, Blake Breaux, Corey Harrington and Grady Harrington all of Kaplan; two grandchildren, Talyn and Tinley Roy; and nine nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, J.C. and Mazie Harrington; maternal grandparents, Wilson and Lorraine Hargrave; and one brother, MaCade Harrington.
