Abbeville— Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Church honoring the life of Ella Marie LeBlanc, 88, who died Sunday, May 25, 2014 at Franklin Foundation Hospital with her family by her side.
Reverend Joseph Breaux will officiate the Mass.
Pallbearers will be Robert Broussard II, Skyler Thibodaux, Gary Breaux, Micah LeBlanc, Dan Fawks and Dave Farrell.
Mrs. LeBlanc was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary "Betty" Breaux and her husband Gary of Franklin; two sons, Edward "Ed" DiPaolantino of Erath and Roderick "Rod" LeBlanc and his wife Deeann of Perry; two sisters-n-law, Hazel Mouton and Velma Frederick; two brothers-n-law, J.E. Guidry and Luce Frederick; ten grandchildren, Robert Broussard II, Kioka Rene Broussard, Skyler Thibodaux, Danielle Rene Ward, Michelle Rene Fawks, Carmen Cole, Crystal Farrell, Kimberly Maples, Rene LeBlanc III, and Micah LeBlanc; seventeen great grandchildren, Rhett and Hudson Broussard, Tyler and Triston Thibodaux, Shilynn and Ashlynn Rene Ward, Ryan and Kaleb McDonald, Dustin Cole, Devan Trahan, Katie Gaylard, Kyle and Kalyn Farrell, Morgan, Connor and Brennan Maples and Logan LeBlanc; and two great great grandsons, Ace and Deacon McDonald; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Rene LeBlanc Jr.; daugher, Sharon L. Thibodaux; grandson, Brandon Reed LeBlanc; parents, Pierre Avery Mouton and the former Laurence Armentor; seven brothers, Nolan, Eule, Edmond, Ora, Paul Reo, Miller and Arnold Mouton; and three sisters, Nola Mouton, Euna Sellers and Florence Guidry.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Wednesday May 28, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
