Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Monday, July 28, 2008 at a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Trudy Marie Nunez, 60, who died Friday, July 25, 2008 at her residence.
She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services.
She is survived by two brothers, John Baxter of San Diego, California and Brian Choate of Mississippi; and four sisters, Olivia "Bootsie" Suire, Genny and her husband Floyd Broussard, Lois and her husband Jimmy Herpin, and Sarah Choate, all of Kaplan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Nunez and the former Irene LeMaire; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Asa Nunez; maternal grandparents, Bill and Cecile LeMaire; and a very dear friend, Raywood LeBlanc..
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Sunday, July 27, 2008 from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m.; with a rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m.; Monday, July 28, from 8 a.m. until the procession departs for the church.
