Adam Mire

October 25, 1923 — July 30, 2008

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Friday, August 1, 2008 at a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Adam Nedes Mire, 84, who died Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at Kaplan Healthcare Center.
He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services.
He is survived by one son, Eugene Mire and his wife Patricia of Katy, Texas; two daughters, Flaudrey M. Abshire and her husband Rodney of Houston, Texas and Rose M. Vice and her husband Shelly of Kaplan; one sister, Beverly M. Istre of Kaplan; eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ozite S. Mire; his second wife, Marie F. Mire; his parents, Clodis Mire and the former Ozite Sonnier; and both brothers, Edwin and Emilton Mire.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, July 31, 2008 from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Friday, August 1, from 8 a.m. until the procession departs for the church.
