Loveless Guidry

December 5, 1916 — July 14, 2008

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Loveless Guidry, 91, who died Monday, July 14, 2008 at DuBuis Hospital of Lake Charles.
He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Ted Broussard officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers were Marlin Touchet, Kim Touchet, Craig Hargrave, Joey Ardoin, Doris d'Augereau, and Mickey Mire.
He is survived by his wife, Ima B. Guidry of Kaplan; one daughter, Tammy Ardoin and her husband Joey of Iowa; two stepdaughters, Glenda Hargrave of Abbeville, and Brendel Mire and her husband Michael of Kaplan; one stepson, Craig Hargrave and his wife Mickey of Kaplan; two sisters, Eurice Touchet and her husband Eldes of Abbeville and Lorena Broussard of Lafayette; seven grandchildren, Arielle Ardoin, Brandi Babineaux, Dawn d'Augereau, Monica Myles, Mickey Mire, Jenny Esthay, and Christy Viator; and eleven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Duma Guidry and the former Edomina Hebert; one grandson, Chad Hargrave; four brothers, Lennix, Lemand, Ravis and Lovix Guidry; and one sister, Hazel G. Mitchell.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Tuesday, July 15, 2008 from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m.; Wednesday, July 16, from 8 a.m. until the procession departs for the church.
