Mable Duhon

October 17, 1917 — July 7, 2008

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at a 2:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Mable Duhon, 90, who died Monday, July 7, 2008 at Vermilion Health Care Center.
She will be laid to rest at Leroy Cemetery with Reverend Emmanuel Okwaraocha officiating the services.
She is survived by three grandchildren, Louana D. Cormier, Brian Keith Duhon, and Tony Lee Duhon, all of Abbeville; four great grandchildren, Sabrina C. Sellers, Dena K. Duhon, Dustin L. Duhon, and Katie A. Duhon, all of Abbeville; and three sisters, Ruth Barton of Rayne, Anna Bell Abshire of Kaplan, and Olite Terro of Lafayette.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Weston Duhon; both sons, Norris Lee and Ray Allen Duhon; one granddaughter, Kristina Duhon; and her parents, Maurice Terro and the former Olita Gary.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 from 8 a.m. until the procession departs for the church.
