Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2008 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Ameze Hebert Mire, 93, who died Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at Kaplan Healthcare Center.
She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Deacon Frank Cormier officiating the services.
She is survived by one son, Michael Mire and his wife Brendel of Kaplan; two daughters-in-law, Linda B. Mire of Pasadena, Texas and Linda Price of Baton Rouge; seven grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred Mire; her parents, Isaac Hebert and the former
Anna Petry; and two sons, Glenn Mire and Kenneth Mire.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Thursday, July 31, 2008 from 8 a.m. until services. A rosary will be prayed at 10 a.m.
