Lynn Farris

July 4, 1987 — August 7, 2008

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 9, 2008 at a 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Lynn LaPointe Farris, 21, who died Thursday, August 7, 2008 at University Medical Center.
She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers were Darwin LaPointe, Chad LaPointe, Brent LaPointe, Jeremy Farris, John Gallet, and Timmy Farris Jr. Honorary pallbearers were Chris Newman and nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her husband of 2 1/2 years, Jeremy Farris of Kaplan; her parents, Dickie LaPointe and Geneva H. LaPointe of Kaplan; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Marlene and Timmy Farris of Kaplan; three brothers, Darwin LaPointe of Thibodaux, Chad LaPointe of Erath, and Brent LaPointe of Kaplan; one sister, Shantell LaPointe of Morgan City; maternal grandmother, Olite Gaspard of Kaplan; and paternal grandmother, Erna LaPointe of Kaplan.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Evest "Dobb" Hargrave; and her paternal grandfather, Paul LaPointe.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Friday, August 8, 2008 from 2:00 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m.; Saturday, August 9, from 8:00 a.m. until services.
All funeral arrangements are being conducted by Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan.
