Kaplan — Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at a 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Odelia LeBouef LeBlanc, 88, who died Monday, June 2, 2014 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Johnathan Janise officiating the services.
She is survived by her three sons, Clarence LeBlanc of Kaplan, Nelton R. LeBlanc of Crowley, and Roger G. LeBlanc of Kaplan; four sisters, Lauris Gaspard of Kaplan, Mary Guilliot of Meaux, Verna Taylor of Lacassine, and Ella Mae Stelly of Forked Island; one brother, George LeBouef of Abbeville; nine grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Dan Dale LeBlanc; three brothers, Andrus, Leroy, and Clomere LeBouef; six sisters, Inza Vidrine, Hazel Cormier, Clomas Racca, Maydore Breaux, Thelma Matthews, and Laura Carpenter; and her companion, Sweeney Henry.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 from 1 p.m. until services with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.
