Funeral services will be held Monday, August 18, 2008 at a 3:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Lori Ellen Belaire Booth, 41, who died Monday, August 11, 2008 at her residence in Florida.

She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Hampton Davis officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Timothy Booth, Jonathan Booth, Morgan Hammette, Peggy Vidrine, Kim Stanley Landry and Karen Brown. Honary pallbearers will be Kim Hammette, Scott Belaire and Robin Breaux. Musical selections will be sung by a good family friend, Wayne Hebert.

She is survived by her husband, Eugene "Beau" Allison Booth, Jr.; two children, Madison Booth and Logan Booth; parents, Richard and Audrey Belaire; one brother, R. Scott Belaire and his wife, Sharon Hebert Belaire and their children, Austin and Ashton; in-laws, Eugene Booth, Sr. and Suzzanne of Baton Rouge; brother-in-laws, Timothy Booth and wife Emily and their children Ryann and Jordan, Stephen Booth and Jonathan Booth; uncle, Jim Hebert and his wife, Jane of Grand Coteau; aunt, Dorothy White of Lafayette and her friend Bob Billeaud of Lafayette; special cousins, Grey and Kim Hammett and their children, Elizabeth, Greyson, Mary Margaret, Morgan and Brennon all of Baton Rouge; and great-aunt, Hilda Mae Montet of Opelousas.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Lisa Gay Belaire; grandparents, Narcisse and Agnes Belaire and Odey and Annie Doucet; and mother-in-law, Angele Dumestre.

Lori was a graduate of Abbeville High School and Louisiana State University. Lori was married to Eugene “Beau” Booth, Jr., an F-16 pilot in the U.S. Air Force. As a military wife, she has traveled and lived in several locations including Japan, Colorado, Arizona, Texas, Las Vegas, Nevada and most recently having moved to Niceville, Florida. Lori enjoyed working with famous actors in Las Vegas shows. She also enjoyed cooking Cajun food for her friends from other states. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Sunday, August 17, 2008 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Monday, August 18, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. until 2:45 p.m. when the procession will depart for the church.
