Velma leaves behind to mourn her passing children, Linda M. Trahan and husband Dwayne (Neggy), Kim Mills Kessler and husband Alan Bentley, Earl David Mills and wife Janie; grandchildren, Roderick, Makenzie, Joshua, Derik, Nicole, Tristen, Mitchell and Megan; eleven great-grandchildren; sisters, Sue Viator and Jeannette Winch of Abbeville and Pecan Island respectively.
She was preceded in death by husband of sixity years Earl Mills; daughter, Jenny Mills Richard; parents, Alfred and Emerite Delcambre; a twin sister, Thelma; and a brother, Murphy.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Saturday, July 26, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. A rosary will be prayed at 10:30 a.m.
