Rena Gallet

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 21, 2008 at a 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anne Catholic Church honoring the life of Rena Gallet, 94, who died Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital.
She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Randall Moreau officiating the services.
She is survived by one daughter, Delores and her husband Lawrence Broussard of Kaplan; three grandchildren, Donna and her husband Michael Taylor of Forked Island, Cathy and her husband Rich DiGiovanni of Beaumont, Texas and Brian Schexneider and his special friend Karen Fulda of Hammond; four great grandchildren, Cody Hebert, Meagan DiGiovanni, Richie DiGiovanni and Angel Schexneider; one great-great grandchild, Hannah Hebert; three step-great grandchildren, Misty Taylor, Dana Romero and Michael Taylor Jr.; five step-great-great grandchildren, Jackson Romero, Jye Rankin, Kennedy Rankin, Tyler Bancroft, and Colby Bancroft.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Gallet; her parents, Alexon Broussard and the former Leona Harrington; two brothers, Alcie Broussard and Otis P. Broussard; and her grandson, Aaron Taylor.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 6 p.m. and Thursday from 8 a.m. until the procession departs for the church.
