View Video TributeAbbeville—Funeral services will be held Friday, August 22, 2008 at a 2:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Ruby Cecile Lacour, 86, who died Thursday, August 21, 2008 at Abbeville General Hospital.

She will be laid to rest at Bancker Cemetery with Rev. Blaine Clement officiating the services.

Ruby retired after 34 years of service as a Scrub Tech for the Palms Hospital and Abbeville General Hospital.

She is survived by two sisters, Myrtis Toups and husband Linwood J. and Stella Lequeux;and one brother, Hebron Lacour Jr.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hebron Lacour and Mary Louquette Lacour and two sisters, Mabel Primeaux and Auriline Toups.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Thursday, August 21, 2008 from 2:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. until service time.
