October 15, 1946 — August 21, 2008

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 23, 2008 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Betty Jane Vincent Broussard, 61, who died Thursday, August 21, 2008 at at her residence.
She will be laid to rest at Suire Cemetery with Reverend Randall Moreau officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers were Marcus Cormier, T-Chris Monceaux, Marcus Monceaux, Chris Crosby, Kevin Miller, and Chad Romero.
She is survived by her husband of forty-seven years, Ray Allen Broussard of Forked Island; one son, Michael Ray Broussard and his wife Christian H. of Gueydan; one daughter, Belinda Menard and her husband Rickey of Forked Island; one brother, Leroy Vincent of Abbeville; four sisters, Laura Hargrave of Abbeville, Marie Miller of Forked Island, Thelma Romero of Abbeville, and Sundee Perry of Kaplan; and four grandchildren, Rachael Vernon of Jeanerette, Vickey Crosby, Connie Menard, and Rikkie Menard, all of Forked Island.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clouis Vincent and the former Doll Suire; and one sister, Betty Ann Vincent.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Friday, August 22, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, August 23 from 8 a.m. until services.
All funeral arrangements are being conducted by Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan.
