Leo Paul Folse

He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Rev. John Vining officiating the services. Pallbearers will be David Prejean, Jacob Cavallaro , Tre’ Dupuie, Wade Brannon, Cheyenne Boudreaux and Elie Jose Cavallaro. Honorary pallbearers Earl Brannon, Page Folse, Jose Cavallaro, Pete Folse, Joel Folse, Skeets Folse, Jonathan Folse and Jason Cavallaro.

Survivors include his wife, Genelle Hargrave Folse, Abbeville; his two sons, Skeets Folse and his wife, Joann of Patterson and Page Cameron Folse and his wife, Donna, Abbeville; a step-son, David Leo Prejean and his wife, Monica, Abbeville; three daughters, Vicki Brannon and her husband, Earl , Tenaha, TX., Ginger Boudreaux, Lake Charles and Stephanie Dupuie, Lafayette and one step-daughter, Roxanne Cavallaro and husband, Jose, Abbeville. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Jonathan Folse, Kimberly Brannon, Wade Brannon and wife, Jeanne, Cheyenne Boudreaux and wife Kristy, Dakotah Boudreaux, Tre’ Dupuie and wife Rochelle, Pete Folse, Joel Folse, Whitney Prejean, Hannah Prejean, Peyton Prejean, Elie Jose Cavallaro, Jason Cavallaro, Jacob Cavallaro and Jasmine Cavallaro; three great grandchildren, Ella Dupuie, Konner Boudreaux and Ava Blue Cavallaro.

Leo was a veteran of the United States Army who served our country during World War II. He was a member of the American Legion Post #29 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #4158.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raoul Folse and the former Cecilia Bourgeois; three brothers; and two sisters. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Sunday, August 24, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. ; Monday, August 25, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. until service time.
