Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Ezdia “Toot” Romero, 87, who died Saturday, July 5, 2014 at Kaplan Healthcare Center. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Cedric Sonnier officiating the services.

She is survived by her son, Leland "Lee" Romero and his wife, Pat of Kaplan; her brother, Ewill Hargrave of Kaplan; six grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Horace Romero; and two sons, Norris and Glynn Romero.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, July 7, 2014 from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Tuesday, July 8, 2014 from 8 a.m. until services.
