Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at a 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Paul Presley Broussard, 84, who died Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Lafayette General Medical Center. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Fr. Matthew Barzare officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ruby Clark Broussard of Kaplan; two sons, Paul Presley Broussard, Jr. of Morse and Brian Keith Broussard and his wife, Lori Mendoza of Delcambre; three grandchildren, Chet Paul Broussard, Brock Paul Broussard, and Bailey Ann Broussard; one sister, Mary Ann Dupre of Lafayette; and two brothers, Donis Broussard of Maurice and Norman Leo Broussard of Kaplan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hebarad Broussard and the former Delaueca Abshire.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Wednesday, July 9, 2014 from 9 a.m. until services.
