Kaplan—Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 12, 2014 at a 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Rebecca Ann Petry, 53, who died Thursday, July 10, 2014 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at Hebert Cemetery with Fr. Matthew Barzare officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband of fifteen years, Michael Petry of Kaplan; four sons, Justin Scott Petry and his wife, Alene of Jennings, Lorne Ross Petry of Maurice, Kade Davis of Welch, and Devin Stuart Davis of Michigan; one daughter, Mandy Sue Benoit of Jennings; one sister, Theresa Hulin of Baton Rouge; three brothers, Mike and Jimmy Hebert both of Lafayette and Jacob Hebert of Morse; her mother-in-law, Faye Petry of Kaplan; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Martha Blanchard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Friday, July 11, 2014 from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Saturday, July 12, 2014 from 8 a.m. until services.
