Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 21, 2014 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Anita LeMaire Leonard, 96, who died Friday, July 18, 2014 at Morgan City Health Care Center. She will be laid to rest at Greene Cemetery with Reverend Keith Landry officiating the services.

She is survived by her son, Ronald Leonard and his wife, Debbie of Bridge City, TX; one daughter, Judy Ann and her husband Robert Darby of Morgan City; one sister, Lovenia Clostiaux of Groves, TX; eight grandchildren, Chris Leonard, Melissa Leonard, Chad McNeal, Troy McNeal, Kelly Vining, Tiffany Crappell, Tim Darby, and Robbie Darby; eight great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lovelace Leonard; parents, Oreal LeMaire and the former Rosetta Hargrave; and her sister Margaret Gaspard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Sunday, July 20, 2014 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m., with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m.; Monday, July 21, 2014 from 9 a.m. until services.
