Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Etienne Bourque Jr., 75, who died Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital. He will be laid to rest at Nunez Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Joe Baudoin officiating the services.

He is survived by his brother, Alton Bourque of New Iberia; and one sister, Berry Jean Bourque of Mouton Cove.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Etienne Bourque and the former Elise Hulin; his wife, Hilda Touchet Bourque; two brothers, Anthony and Isaie Bourque; and three sisters, Mary Anna Louise Bourque, Mary Lou Touchet, and Mary Grace Morgan.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Saturday, August 9, 2014 from 8 a.m. until services.
