Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 6, 2008 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Marie Louise David, 86, who died Monday, September 1, 2008. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend David Broussard officiating the services. She is survived by her daughter, Linda and her husband Lester Hebert of Kaplan; a sister-in-law, Ethel David of Kaplan; three sisters, Della Mae Vidallier of Port Arthur, TX, Jeanne Romero of Kaplan, and Emma David of Kaplan; one grandson, Raywood Bertrand and his wife Pat of Kaplan; three great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Weston David and Clophia David; one sister, Gladys Frederick; and her special friend, Edvar Guidry. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Friday, September 5, 2008 from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m. and Saturday, September 6, from 8 a.m. until services.
