Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 6, 2008 at Glad Tiding Church honoring the life of Betty Jeanne Choate, 50, who died Thursday, September 4, 2008 at her residence.
She will be laid to rest at Pecan Island Community Cemetery with Reverend Steve Delino officiating the services.
She is survived by two daughters, Tammie Stelly and her husband Russell of Pecan Island and Randie Choate, also of Pecan Island; three brothers, Casey Choate of Pecan Island, Boyd Choate of Abbeville, and Billy Choate of Kaplan; one sister, Gwen Hutchinson of Pecan Island; and three grandchildren, Abel Choate, Kade Stelly, and Ethan Stelly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde Choate and the former Mary Bruno; son, Bud Suire; and brother, Rand Choate.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Glad Tiding Church, 27520 W. Highway 82, on Friday, September 5, 2008 from 3:00 p.m. until services on Saturday, September 6.
