Joseph Donald Dupuy

February 24, 1929 — September 8, 2008

Joseph Donald Dupuy, 79, died Monday, September 8, 2008 at Abbeville General Hospital.

He is survived by his four daughters, Debra D. Sumich and her husband, Roni of Metairie, Lisa D. Gabrielcich of Cedar Town, GA, Tara Arceneaux and her husband, David of Harahan and Donna Dupuy of Seattle, WA; seven grandchildren, Brendon, Darren and Laura Sumich, Ryan and Erin Arceneaux, Jannine and Jordan Gabrielcich; one great grand daughter, Morgan Arceneaux; and his former wife, Ruby Bowers Galloway.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Natalie Hebert and Claude Dupuy; and one sister, Jane Atchley.

He was a veteran of the United States Army who served our country during the Korean Conflict. He was a retired employee from Chevron Oil Company.

The family wishes to thank all who cared for him during his stay at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, especially his nurse, Shiela.
