He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon Randy Hyde officiating the services.
He is survived by his step-son, William Leleux; step-daughters, Lana Lambert, Barbara Bellot, Susan Stelly, Pamela Menard, Christine Lege and Tammy Leleux; and three sisters, Della Broussard, Yvonne Corner and Mary Mire.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dominic St. Amant and the former Eva Trahan; companion, Norita Ann Monteaux; step-son, Kenneth Monteaux; brother, George St. Amant; and sisters, Hilda Monroe and Irene Jones.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Thursday, September 4, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Friday, September 5, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
