He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Kenneth Mayne officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Kurt Romero, Dwayne Manceaux, Matt Suire, Ronald Suire, Tim Sonnier and Paul Ardeneaux.
Greg was called "Buffy" by his grandchildren. His granddaughters were his pride and joy. He taught Emily how to drive and helped with homework and projects. He would also help Karly with her homework and prepared her breakfast every morning before school, which they referred to as "Buffy-Hop Restaurant."
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Romero Suire; daughter, Heather C. Landry; two granddaughters, Emily C. Segura and Karly A. Segura; grandson, Parker Gregory Bodin; sister, Tina Suire, and one niece, Paige Suire.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Annis J. Suire and the former Earline LeBlanc.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. until time of services, with a rosary to be prayed at 11:00 a.m.
