Memorial services will be held at Abbeville United Methodist Church,
213 N. State Street, Abbevil1e, Louisiana on Tuesday, September 30,2008 at 1:00 p.m.
for Mae Monceaux Gaspard who passed away on Friday, September 26,2008.
She is survived by one son, Marvin Gaspard of Houston, TX; two daughters, Rose Marie
Gaspard Braly of Houston, TX and Jewel Fay Gaspard Boulet of Wilmington, DE; two
sisters, Allie M. Ardoin of Winnsboro and Lucille M. Meyers of Monroe; four
grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Opha Gaspard; parents, Lason
Monceaux and the former Aureline Hanks; five brothers, Luke Monceaux, L.J.
Monceaux, John Monceaux, Leonard Monceaux, and Jimmy Monceaux; and four sisters,
Mrs. George (Edia)M. Demerest, Mrs. Ignace (Adita) M. Cormier and Mrs. Desire
(Ozite) M. Trahan.
The family requests that visiting hours will be observed at Vermilion Full Gospel
Tabernacle, 210 S. Saint Valerie Street, Abbeville, Louisiana on Monday, September 29,
2008 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.
