Stacy Marie Bammel

October 23, 1960 — September 27, 2008

On Saturday, September 27, 2008, Stacy Marie Bammel, 47, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Lafayette. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 3, 2008 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Leroy, LA. A gathering of family and friends in Lafayette will follow.
Born in Texas, Stacy traveled the world as a child and considered Lafayette her home for the past 17 years. Her passions in life were music, books, and people. Stacy was the life of the party. Her smart humor and vibrant personality brought happiness and laughter to those she cherished. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who will be profoundly missed.
She is survived by her three children, James Hutchison, Danielle Hutchison, and Brent Hutchison; her father, William Bammel; her brother, Christopher Bammel; her two sisters, Stephanie Knott and Erica Spencer-Lee; as well as her nephew, Cory; and nieces, Ann, Michelle, and Lily.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Ann, and her brother, John.
