Kaplan —Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, October 17, 2014 at Kaplan Cemetery honoring the life of Sable Thibodeaux DuBois, 82, who died Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Abbeville General Hospital. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Cedric Sonnier officiating the services.

She is survived by her son, Tracy Viator of Abbeville; daughters, Sheila and her husband, Robert Orr of New Iberia, and Karla and her husband, Lance Borde of Abbeville; her brother, Raymond Thibodeaux and his wife, Rose of Leroy; eight grandchildren, Venus Soileau (Jared), James Viator (Tara), Kenneth Viator, Chante Viator (Joe), Roberta Orr (Eric), Jesse Orr (Kiera), Dylan Borde, and Devin Borde; and nine great grandchildren, Carver, Jolie, Rory, Kya, Reece, Isabelle, Mikey, Sage, Kavell, Juniper.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lovelace "Shine" DuBois; two sons, Landis Viator and Duane DuBois; her brother, Andrew Thibodeaux; and her parents, Rene Thibodeaux and the former Olphida Schexnayder.

There will be a reception to follow at the VFW Post in Kaplan (115 North Eleazar, Kaplan, LA).
